Each of these pieces of stone, slate or ceramic tiles shown are hand painted and original pieces of art. They are not decals, but individually done using a special paint that is baked and sealed for durability. All of these works of art shown are used for decoration only and are not to be used in showers or on floors. Some of these images were used on table tops, back-splashes, fireplace fronts, inlaid into wood box tops, serving tray bases, stove pads or just sat on decorative stands. Some of the painted items were also worked in with mosaics.
Wildlife images are a big part of Buffalo Trail Artworks, but not all. Holly has painted specific requested scenery, homes, and even pets. Not all items were on stone or tiles. Some paintings are done on customers doors, wood pieces and bread boxes to name a few. Some paintings may be similar, but no two are exactly alike.
